Achieving Blogger Instinct & Blogging Success In 2009

How can you have success in 2009 through blogging and having the true blogger instinct?

If you aren’t aware of it yet, social media is definitely an Internet phenomenon whose time has come. Everywhere you look online, it seems that everyone is getting in on the act, with web sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace being all the online rage.

And we’re not just talking about tech-savvy computer geeks here. Even people who you wouldn’t have thought would be at the forefront of the social media storm are taking to it in a big way…

Of course blogger instinct, blogging, and all its related activities still take center stage in the social media scene, and there is no sign that the trend is going away in 2009. Blogging still remains one of the best ways to keep in touch with and connect to people….and yes, to make money on the Internet, and it is likely to remain so this year. Below we offer some tips on how blogger instinct while blogging can continue to make money for you while blogging in 2009.

Formulate a schedule for posting
Having a regular schedule to follow with regard to when you make posts will make it easier for your readers to follow your blog. You don’t have to stick to strict schedule, but at least try to keep it fairly regular.

Share what you know
Good information is at the key to every blog’s success and you are in a better position to share information when you write about something you know or are intimately familiar with.

Be approachable
A quick way to turn off readers is by writing in an impersonal manner that may as well be coming from a bot. Keep your posts in the first person, and strive to maintain an air of informal approachability.

Choose a specific niche…and stick to it
A blog that is all over the place as far as content is concerned is likely to leave readers bewildered. Sticking to one main topic and only occasionally heading off into related tangents will make it easier for readers to connect.

Get connected
Hooking up with other people and other blogs is a great way to increase readership. Communication is what blogging is all about after all, and linking up with other blogs is the perfect way to do just that.
