The 7 Most Underrated Wordpress Plugins Of All Time

First Of all….”seriously”, I can say that wordpress is the best blogging platform in the world. hey!!! DON’T GET ME WRONG, I don’t say it’s perfect. but with so much plugins available to make your blogging life easier, a tone of hacks/tricks/themes and a very big community behind it, I have to tell you “go ahead with WP right now”.
“Wordpress addicted” folks are familiar with plugins like :
all in one SEO
Akismet
Wordpress backup plugin (WP-DB-Backup)
…
this is of course a must for any wordpress blog.
What you’ll find below, is a list of plugins that are not getting the credit they deserve.
So let’s get started:
1. Subscribe-Remind plugin, will automatically place at the end of each of your posts a text inviting your readers to subscribe to your RSS feed.
2. Wp-Security, Scans your WordPress installation for security vulnerabilities and suggests corrective actions
3. Wordpress Thread Comment, This Plugin is an enhancement for Wordpress’s comment function. It enables users to reply on a exist comment, and the discussion will be displayed threaded or nested. This is a cool/good way to encourage and to increase the number of comments on your blog.
N.B: [ hey don't blame Eric and Me, we are not using it, but we will
]
4. Wp-Ban, If you want to BAN someone from visiting your blog this plugin is for you. Wp-Ban will display a custom ban message when the banned IP, IP range, host name or referer url trys to visit you blog. You can also exclude certain IPs from being banned. (this is weird!!! people are looking for traffic and not banning IP
).
5. Sociable, Automatically add links to your favorite social bookmarking sites on your posts, pages and in your RSS feed. You can choose from 99 different social bookmarking sites!
6. Smart YouTube, The main purpose of this plugin is to correctly embed youtube videos into your blog post. The video will be shown in full in your RSS feed as well.
7. Contact Form 7, “for me” this is the best of the best contact from, you can also call it “all in one contact form”, you can customize the form and the mail contents flexibly with simple markup. The form supports Ajax-powered submitting, CAPTCHA, Akismet spam filtering and so on.
This is all, feel free to add plugin you believe it’s great in comments.

Those plugins are certainly not over-rated except for threaded comments. Nowadays most themes are built with threaded comments, so to speak. Excellent list anyway.
